ICE, Embedded version
The embedded version of ICE operates and functions almost identically to the ASP version of ICE in terms of its processing algorithms and AI features; however, in embedded ICE, the intelligence resides locally within the building, as opposed to the ASP version of ICE where this intelligence sits remotely.
The advantages of the embedded version of ICE is that it does not need to traverse an IP connection or corporate firewall, and this may be a key requirement for certain type of facilities such as international airports, government installations and defense or military buildings, where the customer seeks to have full local control of the ICE system.
Just as with the ICE ASP model, the customer will still have full local or remote control of his embedded ICE system via his individual web-user interface.
